Scrapbook layout for Scrap Matrix Design Team

Hi Everyone,  Today I am on the Scrap Matrix blog to share my layout created with this months challenge - TIC TAC TOE as well as monochromatic.  My chosen colour is purple - some people love it, some people hate it. It has always been my favourite colour.

Here is the grid:

Just follow a line - up, down or diagonal - I have used the bottom line - Chippie Shape, German Scrap and Paper Flower

I have used the paper collection Northern Lights by 7 Dots.

I began by applying texture and marks - I have used whipped spackle and a 13 arts stencil.  Once dried I have coloured the background with 13 arts Ayeeda Paint - Pink, Indigo Noilet and Lilac.
Stamping has been randomly done with the gorgeous stamp designed by our own Australian Fiona Paltridge for AALL & Create

I have then used some embossing powder Silver Moon Sapphire (Lindy Stamp Gang)

Here are some close ups:

Remember you can team it with neutrals, and to follow one line on the grid -
The line can be up, down, or diagonal.

To be in the challenge you only have to add your project to the Scrap Matrix Shares group on Facebook, and let us know which Scrap Matrix products you's not necessary to have a blog, just add your entry to the current challenge album.
Here are a list of the products that I have used:

Art journal page and a card for Visible Image Design Team

Hi Everyone, Today I would like to share an art journal page and card that I have created for Visible Image Design Team.

I have used the striking Strobes Stencil on the art journal page

I found it easiest to adhere the stencil to my craft mat as I was applying a number of colours.

I started at the top and worked by way down using Tim Holtz Distress Inks

Once dry I have stamped the head in black ink using my misti so that I can stamp it a number of times.

I have also created a second card using the same technique with the Fibres stencil:

Thanks for stopping by and I hope that you have found some inspiration in my creations.

Layers and Textures challenge for Scrap Matrix

Hi Everyone, I hope that you have had a wonderful easter and those that are still on holiday I am extremely jealous !

I have created three little canvases for Scrap Matrix Design Team with the theme "travel" in common:

I began by laying out where I wanted all the little pieces to go and then glued them down with 3D Matt Medium.  I have listed all the embellishments in the products at the bottom of the blog with links to the Scrap Matrix Store.

Once they were dry I covered everything in 3 coats of black gesso

Once the gesso was dry I was able to start the colour process.  I have used Finnabair Acrylic Paint, Mica Powder and Metallique Wax.  Here are some close ups:

ATC's for Visible Image Design Team

Hi everyone, today I want to share some Artist Trading Cards that I have made for the Visible Image Design Team.

I have made four cards, measuring 2.5 in x 3.5 in.

I began with a piece of watercolour hot pressed paper that is 300 gsm.

I have stuck to three colours of distress inks and have blended them together on the paper

I have then used the same colours through 3 Visible Image stencils - Strobes, Time Tunnel and Fibres

Again using the same colours I have stamped randomly with a mixture of stamps that I have listed and linked to the Visible Image store at the bottom of the blog.

I have then cut the paper into the 2.5 x 3.5 inches and stamped the focal point with black ink and used a sparkle embossing powder over the top.
The big words were stamped with blank ink.
